Question: Is there a water deficiency within the city?
Answer: I am certainly not a hydrologist so I can't authoritatively answer this question but it seems that we are okay for the time being. However most residents I've spoken with have the feeling that the dry winters in combination with explosive growth could have a significantly negative impact on our water supply and I'm in alignment with that sentiment. One thing is for sure... if the aquifer can't supply our water needs Elk Ridge will not remain the city it is today.
Question: What was the problem with the well last summer and was it resolved?
Answer: We had a pump breakdown. Yes, it was resolved.
